Working and Breastfeeding

As always there will be time to discuss the issues and concerns of mothers present.

We've had to change the dates for the next meeting to Friday December 2nd, so I'm afraid there will be no November meeting, unless anyone would be happy to host a coffee morning.

Welcome to LLL of South East London

We hold one meeting a month currently in Crofton Park/Brockley (SE4). Mothers are free to attend the meeting and there is no charge for attendance. The group has a library of books for loan to members and a wealth of other information on offer.

La Leche League is an international organisation founded over fifty years ago to help and encourage mothers to breastfeed their babies. Leaders are ordinary mums who have enjoyed nursing their children and who have received training to become volunteer breastfeeding counsellors.

Our Membership

You are welcome to come along for free to see if we are likely to meet your needs. Membership is £25 a year (£15 unwage family), renewable in April. Those joining in February or March still pay £25 but need not renew until April the following year.

Cheques are made payable to La Leche League of South East London.

We are here to help mothers today because of others who came before you and your membership ensures that LLL will be here for mothers who come after you - in SE London, the UK and around the world.

Members receive six editions of Breastfeeding Matters a year, a discount on books from the LLLGB catalogue, and may borrow books from the group library.
